This is a classically stranded, two coloured mittens pattern.

The pattern itself is inspired by those distinctive stones found at a lot of places around Iceland. I recommend to visit the gorgeous Hofsós swimming pool in North
Iceland, where huge basalt pillars can be seen when taking a walk at the shoreline beneath the pool.
