“Style 1925” is the name often used to indicate the Art Déco, a decorative and architectural style stimulated and influenced by the “Exposition Internationale des Arts Décoratifs et Industriels Modernes” that took place in Paris in 1925.
Art Déco is characterized by long, thin forms, geometric patterning with sharp angular or zigzag.

The Style 1925 Shawl is worked top-down from neck to bottom, it features twisted sts and an easy lace pattern.

The sample in the first picture has been knit with 947.07 yd / 866 m of Miss Babs Tarte, a fingering weight 75% Superwash Merino wool / 15 % Nylon / 10% Tencel (500 yd / 457 m on 4.27 oz / 122 g) and needles size 3.5 mm – US 4 size.

Finished measurements of the blocked sample in the first picture: 57.48” / 146 cm wingspan,
27.95” / 71 cm from neck to bottom center.
