This is a basic pattern for a toe-up sock meant to be worn unobtrusively under summer shoes, such as brogues, boat shoes, Converses, etc. The original pattern is sized for a small woman’s size, about US 7.5; because the pattern is a basic stockinette, it is pretty simple to size up or down because there are no pattern repeats to worry about.

The pattern has not been tested; I simply recorded the method I use to make my own invisible socks to share with others. I welcome feedback on how to make the pattern easier to read and more accessible!
