The Subtly Stranded Silk Sampler is a perfect project for the beginning strander. Because the color changes occur every 2-3 sts, no floating is required. You simply need to take care to keep your tension comfortably loose and even to avoid puckering. It is also a fun project for the seasoned strander. The hardtwist Merino/Silk blend in this cowl yields perfect stitch definition to show off the subtle colorwork design, and it creates a soft fabric with a yummy sheen. It looks as if it is doubleknit, but it is not. It is worked in-the-round, and the back is worked with the colors reversed. Super comfortable warm and chic. A staple for every knitter’s wardrobe.

Size: Featured cover cowl measures 13” tall x 24”circumference. Make it shorter & wider, if desired.
