The Südasuvine (Estonian for Midsummery) shawl is worked in one piece from the bottom up. Cleverly placed increases on both sides and in the body of the shawl create a triangular shawl with elongated points, cosy to wrap yourself in.
The summer solstice is a big celebration in Northern countries. The sun never sets down or sets just for a couple of hours. Midsummer parties are held all night long. Despite being summer, it might still get chilly at night and you need something cosy on your shoulders.

Gauge is not crucial but will affect finished dimensions and yarn requirements.
The pattern is fully charted and written out.
The pattern has been tech edited and test knitted.
