Bag is knit side to side starting with a provisional cast on, and alternates between garter stitch and mesh stitch bands. Double pointed needles in the smaller size are also needed to complete the bottom of the bag, which is picked up and knit in the round. Bag is finished with kitchener stitch and optional I-cord draw string.

Cotton yarn is used for the garter stitch bands and Berroco Suede is used in the mesh bands (300 yards each).
