Versatile, you can knit short and long sleeves and choose to sew 1, 2, 3 or more buttons. Instructions are provided for all these variations.

The body is knitted flat and sleeves are knitted in the round. Seamless!
Stitch markers separate every section to make it easy for you to remember what to knit and where to knit it.

Lace instructions are available in written and chart forms.

The cardigan comes in 7 sizes :
0-6 mo (1 yo, 2 yo, 3-4 yo, 5-6 yo, 7-8 yo, 9-10 yo)

Your size’s choice should be based on finished chest measurements. Age label is just there to give a reference.

Materials
• 250 (300, 350, 400, 500, 600, 700) yards of sport weight yarn or any other yarn that gives gauge (for short sleeves)
• 32’’ circular needle and double pointed needles (DPNs) US # 4 (3.5 mm) or any size required to obtain the stockinette stitch gauge
• Other : 8 stitch markers, 2 stitch holders, 1to 3 (or more) 0.75’’ buttons

This pattern has been tested.
Among the modifications post-test, there is now less cast on stitches, thus the neckline is less baggy than what might appear in the testing cardigans.
