Digital chart and instructions in English (US terms) for creating the Sugar Skull pattern in mosaic crochet. This pattern uses the overlay mosaic crochet technique.

The Sugar Skull pattern includes instructions for a pillow, and details for repeating the pattern to create other projects like blankets, wall hangings and more. You can also make this pattern with standard 2-colors, or get creative and use the multi-color technique to color your sugar skull any way you like. Pattern also includes left-handed charts and instructions.

This is an advanced level mosaic crochet pattern. The pattern is chart based and NOT written row by row. These charts have several special stitches, and each pattern includes a detailed photo tutorial of those stitches. If you’re new to mosaic crochet there are links to video tutorials within the pattern to help teach you the technique and how to read a chart pattern.
