Question: What to do when you have just one skein of luscious blue sky Worsted Cotton?
Answer: Make a cowl of course. I couldn’t find a pattern so I wrote one.

The pattern is named for the yarn colour which reminded me of old fashioned sugared almonds.

Skill Level:
Advanced beginner. The pattern is written in a line by line format. Skills needed are knitting in the round, the knit stitch, the purl stitch, YFWD and K2tog.

Finished size.
10.5” high by 11” wide

Materials required.
5mm 50cm circular needles or DPN’s.
1 x 100g skein blue sky Worsted Cotton
Darning needle to sew in ends.

With some simple maths this pattern could be knitted in other yarn weights.

Now for the the boring bit.
