I made these up because I couldn’t find any patterns with a light weight yarn, and I didn’t want my baby girl having all that yarn from a thicker weight yarn in between her tiny toes! The lace/light fingering weight looks so intricate and feminine, and despite how complex these might look, I was able to make BOTH of them in about 15 minutes. Also these are the perfect summer baby shoes that will not come off, and who cares if they don’t have soles! It’s not like they’re going to be walking anytime soon!

You could also probably use crochet thread or fingering weight yarn and it wouldn’t make much difference in the size.
