Summertime is always a fun time of year. Grass is growing, pretty vines & flowers are beginning to spread & bloom. This shawl is a depiction of just that. The vine gracefully climbing & spreading up the back, with a sprinkling of pretty flowers sparkling among vines.

Our Summer KAL is beganJune 8th. Fiber Art Work is hosting our next seasonal project. We are doing one for each season.

There are 2 clues, one week apart
Clue 1 you will be guided on your journey by chart &/or written instructions
Clue 2 gives you the option of continuing to follow a guide or setting off on your own. You can either do this with just one skein or more. This is totally up to you. The guide will end at one skein.

This will be a shawlette/scarf in light cotton. Lots of lace & beads to let the air flow through; but still keep the chill off. Small enough to cover our head, yet still enough to catch the top of our shoulders.

As with most of my designs you can choose to use a heavier weight yarn & larger needles, or with this one you could simply go with an extra skein & continue on to make it larger with the lighter weight cotton (or yarn of your choice).

Looking forward to seeing your project pages & links.
Hope you will enjoy the journey.
