Summer Breeze is a “half-pi-and-a-bit” shawl inspired by the Seals & Croft song of the same name. Being slightly more than a half circle it drapes nicely round the shoulders. Blocked, the sample shown has a radius of 57cm/22.5” however the pattern has options for a larger shawl if you have more yarn.

Requirements:

4mm circular needles – 80cm or longer - or size to obtain 5.5 stitches and 7.5 rows per 2.5cm/1” in stocking stitch, blocked. Gauge need not be exact, but it will affect the size of your shawl and the amount of yarn you use.
