Summer by the River Tee is perfect for late summer evenings as it keeps you warm enough but not too much!

This summer sweater is knitted top-down seamlessly in one piece. The raglan is shaped by increasing every second round and then every fourth round.

When the yoke portion is done, sleeves are divided from the body and placed on stitch holders, while underarm stitches are casted on to work in the round. Water pattern decorates the body from the empire-style waist down. Increases are worked in the lower portion of the body to accommodate for hip circumference.

Short sleeves are worked by picking up underarm stitches and the stitches previously placed on stitch holders.

This pattern was created with a generous yarn contribution from Battenkill Fibers, a fiber mill that’s literally about 20 minutes from me! Consider supporting them by purchasing their yarn at their online shop Mill Street Textiles.
