Why should I make a mug hugger for summer?

It negates heat from hands, table, and sun.

It helps to keep your drinks cold.

You probably have everything that needed this project at your home. For this project, you will need a used glass jar. Almost any glass jar works, wheter it was holding a tomato sauce or olives, give it a new life as your favourite drink mug!

Yarn that I used was Viking Vår and hook 3.0mm.

Glass jar that I used was this:

Bottom diameter: 7 cm / 2.75 inch

Around: 22 cm / 8.66 inch

-> If you want to make this project with exact pattern, please try to find a glass jar closest to these dimensions for perfect fit.

-> You can adjust the size of this product by making more or less rows at the bottom.

How to pick a mug from used glass jars?

You can measure how much water you can pour in, or check the label if it´s still attached. Anything under 500 grams / 0.5 litres and over 150 grams / 1.5 desiliters works perfectly fine.

And espcecially, choose one that you think you would enjoy to drink the best summer drinks from. The mug hugger does the magic!
