The Summer Fields Shawl pattern is advanced beginner level and requires at least 590+ yards of light worsted (DK) or worsted weight yarn and a 6mm hook, as well as knowledge of magic circles (or the chain 4 loop method) chaining, and double crochet and puff stitches. This pattern does not teach you how to crochet in general and assumes you are familiar with the basic stitches.

The pattern uses US terminology and is written in English.
