This is my China Wedding Anniversary Flower Wreath. Twenty large flowers represent 20 years of marriage and two flowers either side of the heart are the husband and wife.

You can adjust this pattern to make a nice summer wreath instead, making more/less flowers. Ideal pattern for using up lots of scrap yarn as you only need about 6 grams of yarn per flower.

Beginner friendly pattern with step by step photos included.
Written in US crochet terms.

You will need:
4 mm crochet hook, yarn needle, two stitch markers, scissors, 10” (30 cm) wire wreath frame, handful of toy stuffing, and different shades of double-knit weight yarn, 10 x 13 g. I used Butterfly Love yarn pack (from Amazon), but any DK yarn can be used.

My tension is 5 stitches/ 5 rows = 2.5 x 2.5 cm, however this is not essential, depending on your tension, you will get a slightly bigger or smaller flower/heart, but you might need more yarn to complete the project.

The pattern requires basic knowledge of crochet stitches:
slip knot, slip stitch, magic circle, chain, single crochet, double crochet, how to increase, decrease and crochet in a circle.

Each flower will be approximately 6 cm diameter and heart 8 x 9 cm. I also added two optional smaller flowers, white and black.
