This pattern is so much fun to make! Use a set of 10 Minis with at least 87 yards per mini and one skein of a contrasting color in fingering/sock of 400 yards or more and you are on your way!

I knit up 4 different shawls before I wrote the pattern. I think my favorite was the shawl where I used one skein each of Madeline Tosh Impression and Prairie. The result was amazing! it is the sample I get the most comments about in the shop I own, DMarie Knit and Fiber in Prairie du Sac, WI.

When I used two different colors in Hedgehog Fibres Skinny singles, I couldn’t believe the difference.. it doesn’t even look like the same shawl pattern.. if you use two contrasting colors, you will need 800 yards of the lace pattern and your main color (garter ridges) uses 1 skein.

Make it bigger if you want by just adding more colors or repeating the lace and garter ridge pattern.

All Proceeds for this pattern are used to fund the DMarie Student Knit Program. This program put out over 200 free knitting kits to students and adults during the shut down in Wisconsin. We provide materials for knit and crochet clubs in local schools and for teaching students in the shop.

Thank you for your support! It is greatly appreciated!
