This is a written pattern for a mandala. It is a straightforward pattern where gauge is not important and any yarn may be used, depending on the purpose of your project. I made one to be attached to a bag as a detail but you could make one to be put in a deep frame for the wall, a worktop saver for a flower pot or placemat for a dining table. When using a 4 ply yarn you will use approx. 75m with a 3mm hook but be advised that altering the hook size and/or yarn type will alter the quantities used.
