This design is great for crocheters who are not comfortable working in rounds. The popsicle and the stick are made by crocheting 2 panels the same and single crocheting them together around the outside.

Supplies:
To make a 7” by 14” ragdoll use a size 5 yarn such as Lion Brand Hometown USA or Bernat Softee Chunky. If you choose solid color with Hometown or Softee Chunky, you may need part of a 2nd skein. Or use 2 strand together of size 4 yarn such as Red Heart Super Saver or Michaels Impeccable. Crochet hook size K 6.5mm.

I used Michaels Impeccable in Cherry, White, Bright Sky Blue 2 strands held together for the patriotic popsicle. I am unsure of the color of the brown for the popsicle stick because I forgot to tuck the label in the cake when I wound it.

You will also need a small amount of black for the facial features. I used size 18mm safety eyes. You could also embroider the eyes. Or cut the eyes and mouth out of felt and use fabric glue.

Fiber fill to stuff your popsicle with.

To make a smaller version 4” by 9” use 1 strand of worsted weight yarn and 9mm or 12 mm safety eyes and an H 5mm hook.
