Summer in the City
The SUMMER IN THE CITY skirt is a beautiful knee-length companion to the Hot Town top. This ribbed skirt is a true wardrobe staple, and together with the ribbed top it creates a beautiful set you can wear both at home and for a night out.
The skirt is worked seamlessly from the top down in the round. First, a casing for the waistband elastic is worked, after which the skirt is shaped with increases. The skirt features wide ribbing throughout, and the hem is finished with a slit and a beautiful I-cord edge. Finally, elastic is inserted into the waistband and the ribbing is folded double over it and sewn into place.
