This shawl, knit from the center-top down, is a modified half-circle/sweetheart shawl shape that wraps perfectly around the wearer’s shoulders and drapes beautifully. The lace patterns are fun to knit and the color-changing cotton completes the glorious look of this feather-light design.

The sample used approx 480 yards of fingering weight color-changing cotton yarn (Wolle’s Yarn Creations – in “afternoon” colorway) on US#7 circs.

Directions are both charted and written-out.

Pattern Notes:
• shawl is started at the top with a garter tab
• you will slip the first st of EVERY row to obtain a nice, chained edge
• to make this shawl longer (after obtaining more yarn, of course), rep the final lace pattern (a 10-row rep) up to a total of 2 times to maintain the inc ratio
