This shrug was originally designed as a summer coverup, but has proved so versatile in different yarns, it is being knitted as a year round usable garment!

It is a short sleeved, lacy design with eyelet/ row repeats that can be increased if a larger size is needed. Just keep in mind you will need to allow more yardage.
No major calculations or adjustments to pattern are needed.

I have given some suggestions for yarns, but it has been knitted in lots of different lighter wts. with success! Thanks to all my knitting friends for their input!

** please note- you need to get an approx. gauge of about 3 to 31/2 sts to the inch on larger needles for the correct size.
If you tend to be a tighter knitter, please adjust your needle size to help get the correct gauge.
It is meant to drape loosely-if you are not getting this, please adjust your needle size to avoid being disappointed:)
