The Summer Poncho is an airy poncho that is slightly open-knit. It is worked top-down in the round in a relatively simple construction: we start by working the neckline in fisherman’s rib, then work the body in stockinette with a center cable panel at the front, and finish with fisherman’s rib for the hem. Fringe is attached at the end.

Given the shape of the poncho, the pattern is One Size. However, I’ve included notes on how you might adjust size if desired. Please note that this pattern has not yet been test-knit.

The sample is made with five skeins of Knitting For Olive Cotton Merino in the color Cream.
