For the knitters who don’t need all the stitch-by-stitch instructions, here is our summary pattern for the Summer Shimmer Tank.

It is knitted bottom-up, in the round, in stockinette with thin stripes of shiny yarn.

The straps are made with cables and added at the end.

It is written as a single size M (medium), but you can do a little math and adjust to your sizing, and liking!

It is both comfortable, breezy yet holding its shape. The cables and shimmery lines give it an elevated look.

It perfectly pairs with a pair of jeans, or those linen pants we love on Summer evenings.

The knitting techniques used make it super easy and meditative for the body, and the stripes make the progress visible, like milestones. The straps will make you practice cables, separately from the rest of the piece.

It is designed for an Aran cotton (not sold here). Needles US size 6 / 4mm.

If you are using different yarn and weight, make sure to measure with a gauge first to adjust the pattern and counts to the yarn weight, and needle sizes.
