For the knitters who don’t need all the stitch-by-stitch instructions, here is our summary pattern for the Summer Shimmer Top.

It is knitted bottom-up, starts in the round, then progresses up in flat knitting to make the back, and a V-neck opening.

It is written as a single size M (medium), but you can do a little math and adjust to your sizing, and liking!

It is both comfortable, breazy yet holding its shape. The V-neck cut and shimmery lines give it an elevated look.

It perfectly pairs with a pair of jeans, or those linen pants we love on Summer evenings.

The sleeves are short, and just cover the shoulders for a classy style, without feeling warm.

The knitting techniques used make it entertaining, using color blocks and playing with textures.

It is designed for an Aran cotton (not sold here). Needles US size 6 / 4mm.

If you are using different yarn and weight, make sure to measure with a gauge first to adjust the pattern and counts to the yarn weight, and needle sizes.
