Inspired by the Summer Sky Socks I’ve taken the cables and made them into a slouchy beanie.

I designed it so that it’s really a few hats all in one depending on how it’s angled. There’s a cable section, a rib section, a garter section and two stockinette sections.
There’s enough to keep you interested, but with enough ‘down time’ to make it relaxing.

The summer-sky cables are my favourites, because they have eyelets in there it’s a great pattern for a first time cable-er because they help you read your knitting.

This hasn’t been test knit, so any questions or queries please let me know!!

(Please note that the yarn used in my sample is my own hand dyed - but my suggestions are very close)
