Designed to be knit in relatively thick bamboo, linen or silk blends, the summer slipover is the perfect transitional piece that will keep you cool and warm for those not quite summer days and evenings. The vest is knitted from the top down, the front and back are knitted flat, joined in the round at the underarm, then knit in the round until the desired length before the split hem.

Sizes: A (B, C, D, E) (F, G, H, I)

32” (36”, 40”, 44”, 48”) (52”, 56”, 60”, 64”)

83 cm (87 cm, 102 cm, 110 cm, 122 cm) (131 cm, 142 cm, 151 cm, 163 cm)

Choosing your size and fit: The stated measurements are for the actual garment, choose a size with your desired ease, 0 to 2” / 0 - 5 cm positive ease is recommended.

Yarn:

Hobbii Rainbow Bamboo (250m / 100g) held double

or

Sandnes Garn Tykk Line (60m / 50g) held single

Note: To achieve the drapey look of the sample knit, choose a yarn made with silk or a plant based fibre for example silk, linen or cotton. Wool blends may work but are likely to give a different look to the final garment and will be more of a traditional woolly slipover.

Yardage:

Hobbii Rainbow Bamboo (250m / 100g) held double:

300 (340, 380, 420, 450) (490, 530, 570, 600) grams

750 (850, 950, 1050, 1125) (1225, 1325, 1425, 1500) metres

Sandnes Garn Tykk Line (60m / 50g) held single:

330 (370, 410, 450, 500) (530, 570, 610, 650) grams

400 (450, 500, 540, 600) (640, 700, 740, 780) meters

Note: These yardages are for the recommended body length, if you make the top longer you will need additional yardage. If you use a yarn with different yardage per 100g make sure to purchase yarn based upon the total metres required per strand.
