My grandma absolutely loves the berets I make for her. When her birthday rolled around this year, she inevitably wanted another. Summer Snowflake was the result!
All the pictures are of the beret I gave to her. She loved it! I hope you love it just as much.

I gave it to her before I measured the gauge, but the finished hat should have a diameter of about 9 inches when laying flat, if you knit with with the suggested yarn and needles.

Sport or DK weight yarn
Size 7 circular needles, 16”
Size 7 DPNs
Darning needle

Stitches Used
K - Knit
P - Purl
M1 - Make 1
YO - Yarn Over
CDD - Centered Double Decrease
K2TOG - Knit 2 Together
SSK - Slip Slip Knit

Special Stitches
CPF - Cable Purl Forward
Slip 1 stitch onto cable needle, hold in front. P1, K1 stitch off of cable needle.
CBP - Cable Purl Back
Slip 1 stitch onto cable needle, hold in back. K1, P1 stitch off of cable needle.
SSSK - Like SSK, but slip three before making the stitch.
K3TOG - Like K2TOG, but knit three together instead of two.
