Pretty lace on soft Merino, perfect for cool summer evenings or cooler summer days. Delicate enough to be worn with a summer dress, these socks have a traditional heel flap but also the addition of an underfoot gusset for comfort.
The pattern is quick and very easy to remember and can be adapted for a shorter leg.

I haven’t added a gauge for these socks - as they need blocking to open the lace but for a rough idea I would suggest;

32 sts and 47 row = 10cm (4 inches in stocking stitch).
