Introducing the Summer Solstice Adult Blouse! This is yoke top sweater with leaf detailing, for someone with the greenest thumb! Make it in cotton with short sleeves for warm summer nights, or bring the summer into cooler months with acrylic or wool and long sleeves! The possibilities are endless! The leaf detailing also comes with picture instructions for ease of use.

This is an intermediate design, second in my Nature series. The leaf designs add a simple touch of nature to this lovely top! This fitted sweater is sure to be a staple in your closet! I love trees and growing things, so the leaves around the collar is right up my alley. Also, the body pattern is made to mimic vines crossing, so every aspect of this top screams SUMMER!

You can use any DK weight yarn, and you’ll need 875-2200 yards, depending on your personal preference of sleeve and bodice length. I used Premier Anti-Pilling Everyday DK, and it came out beautifully to show off that texture! I also like anti-pilling yarns for clothing, because it holds up so well to daily wear and tear – no felting over time like so many of my wool sweaters.

This lovely yoke top pullover comes in sizes from Small (32”) to 5XL (60”)!!! There’s NO seaming (I hate to sew), and very few color changes, so not too many ends to weave in, either! You will need a basic understanding of the crochet stitches chain, slip stitch, single crochet, half double crochet, and Yarn-Under Half double crochet, as well as cluster stitches. The beautiful leaves around the collar are explained in picture instruction.

As always you are welcome to reach out if you have any questions about the pattern. Once the pattern is purchased, you may sell your finished items, as long as you give credit to me as the designer.
