We start with the crochet rib of the crown band then spin the work 90 degrees to work on the peaks. Once done with that foundational crown part, I show you how to make the flowers and leaves to attach.

Make whatever size you need, the pattern is for 5 yrs to adult and if you need smaller, take it down by rows of 10 (each peak is 10 rows so one peak reduction)

It’s a multicoloured project with about 50g of one single colour needed for the crown. The rest is just 1-2m for each detail.

Make with organic cotton ideally, you can also spray with starch to give the flowers more substance, the finish is lovely.

It’s a lovely summery pattern that gives you a great little crown, perfect for festivals, summer parties and play times.
