The Summer Vacation Cardi is the perfect cardigan to throw on to elevate any outfit. The raglan shaping creates a relaxed, casual fit, great for everyday wear.

The Summer Vacation Cardi is worked top-down with raglan shaping. Once the yoke is done, the armholes will be separated from the body. The body will be worked flat with an optional bust shaping using short rows. Stitches will be picked up for the sleeves and worked flat in garter stitch, then seamed. The cardigan is finished with a double knit button band.

Sizing

Graded to 9 sizes for 71cm-158cm/ 28”-62” bust sizes.

Unfortunately, I was not able to find test knitters for bust sizes 101.5cm-158cm/ 40”-62”. If you would like to test knit those sizes, please drop me a message and I’ll send you the pattern for free.

Gauge

Garter stitch: 22 stitches × 34 rows to measure 10cm × 10cm/ 4” × 4” after wet blocking, knitted flat using 4.5mm (US 7) needles.

Double knit stockinette stitch: 48 stitches × 20 rows to measure 10cm × 10cm/ 4” × 4” after wet blocking, knitted flat using 4mm (US 6) needles.

Yarns used

• 1 strand of Memo’s Arthouse Stonewashed yarn (78% cotton, 22% acrylic) = 130m/ 142yd per 50g.
