This pattern was inspired by time spent at Knitters’ Day Out and what the event teaches the crafting community. For an evening and a day, knitters from around the country flock to Summerdale, PA to learn from expert teachers new and interesting techniques. We hope that this cowl represents knitting techniques and tips learned throughout the years of Knitters’ Day Out. Feel free to substitute favorite stitches that you learned at Knitters’ Day Out.

Designed for a DK or Worsted weight yarn, this cowl will be perfect for autumn and winter wear. Use up your stash to make this, or support your local yarn shop and grab yarn from them! Either way we hope that you will wear your Summerdale cowl during the Knitters’ Day Out event.
