This shawl was inspired by the magical surroundings and breathtaking arch windows of the Scarriett-Bennett Center. The pattern is airy yet dense enough to provide just enough comfort those cool summer nights. The chosen yarn for the sample is Desert Vista Dyeworks Vior in the Scarriett-Bennett Center colorway. The subtle toning of the varigation lends a soft look with excellent stitch definition and drape. The size and shape of the shawl lends itself to be worn either traditionally or draped in a number of ways around the neck, enhancing any outfit for any occasion.

NOTIONS: Stitch markers (Optional), tapestry needle for weaving ends.

PATTERN STYLE: The pattern contains written as well as chart instructions. There is a key and full abbreviation list included as well.

DIFFICULTY: Intermediate. This pattern is all lace, while the pattern is memorable, it does require a little concentration.

YARN: This pattern is better suited for solid or lightly tonal yarn to show off the detail of the lace. It may seem to get lost in a heavy variegated yarn, but a subtle variegation should be okay.

Please take the time to check guage for this pattern. If you are a loose knitter you may need to account for more yarn. You MUST get guage if you have purchased the kit to ensire that you have ample yarn to complete the shawl.

ERRATA:
Chart 3 is to be repeated a total of 5 times, not 4 as stated in the notes.
