This wrap/poncho is a perfect summer accessory. Knit in fingering weight yarn, it is light and sleek and swingy, especially in a wool/plant fiber blend. It features two sets of lacy leaves, twining up the side. Inspired by a wrap seen at the Waterfront Blues Festival in Portland, Oregon, Summertime Blues will make your heart sing.

Gauge is 21 sts/4 inches in stockinette stitch, unblocked. Blocked gauge is 18 sts/4 inches.

Two pieces are joined with three needle bind off at the shoulder, and then seamed up the side with mattress stitch or slip stitch crochet. Knitterā€™s choice!

This pattern is highly adjustable for length and width.

Thanks to tech editor Amanda Woodruff, test knitter Sarah Peery, and model Bobbi Sullivan.
