The pattern has instructions for both cuff down and toe up socks.

The patter is written for magic loop, but can easily be modified for double pointed needles.

The cuff down pattern has two options for the heel, a normal reinforced heel flap with short row heel turn and gusset decreases on the sole and a reinforced Strong Heel. The toe up version has a no pick up heel flap construction.
