Sun Crown Crochet Pattern

This crochet pattern is for making a cute sun shaped crown for dress up, photoshoots or just for fun :)

The pattern includes details for crocheting the crown in a variety of sizes.

This is a really fun flower pattern, using standard crochet stitches and Tunisian crochet Entrelac stitches, which are described in detail.

These are great to crochet; you will learn them in this pattern (if you don’t know them already) and could use them in future projects.

There is no need for a long hook for this pattern.

1. Detailed step by step photo tutorial for the crown.
2. File without pictures for printing the crown pattern.
3. Photo tutorial explaining how to join new yarn without a slipknot.

All are written in US English terms.

It is a good idea to familiarize yourself with the pattern by following the photo tutorial first.

The printable version is best used when you already know the pattern.

Skill level: intermediate.
A basic knowledge of crochet techniques and stitches is required.

Materials:
1. Yarn: I used 100% Acrylic, 4 ply, Hayfield Bonus Chunky, 100 gr. And Paintbox yarns, simply chunky, 100gr.
Of course, you can use a different brand with similar weight.
The amount of yarn required for different crown sizes is detailed in the pattern.

1. Crochet hook size 5.5mm (metric) I/9 (US).
2. Tapestry needle.
3. Scissors.
4. Stitch markers (optional).
