This is a decorative pillow in the shape of the sun to brighten up the New Year! It is worked in a continuous spiral. It consists of two circles for the “body” and 8 triangles for the rays.

First the two circles are made and then the 8 rays which are then (one by one) sewn onto one circle (but only by the first 16 stitches). The rays are then stuffed, the other circle is placed on top and sewn to the rays and stuffed (of course!). And the pillow is done!

It is approx. 35 cm in diameter and it is made with 1 skein of bamboo slow color changing yarn and a 4 mm crochet hook.
