There is a new version out as of July 25, 2017. There are no major changes in this version, just some suggestions and clarifications.

I love the Pussyhat and all its permutations, but it’s getting warmer, so I needed a light weight version. I am also very fair skinned, so something to help me avoid the sun is always appreciated. Thus, the sun pussyhat was born.

This is knit top down, with either Judy’s Magic Cast On or a provisional CO of your choice, which is later seamed. There are two pieces, the hat and a band sewn inside to fit it to your head.

You will also need millinery wire and a joiner for the wire to make the brim stand out.
