The Sun Salutation is a long, loose-fitting, set-in sleeve, open-front cardigan worked top down in a gentle A-line to a mid-thigh length. The back neck incorporates an applied I-cord for stability, with the front edge ribbing worked as you go. That rib is then incorporated into the bottom edge.

What makes this pattern different is that the yarn(s) are worked in two different gauges: a smaller-than-normal gauge at the shoulders creates a firm fit at the top, then a ruffled increase to a larger needle size creates the looser flow for the body.

To get the best fit, it is recommended that you select a size based on your cross back measurement (the width between the ends of your shoulder blades).
