Sun Salutation Sweater

This sweater is worked inside out, to create a reverse stocking stitch sweater, with a striking sun rays colourwork motif, and side stripes. This sweater has a relaxed fit, with no shaping after the bust. Short-rows are used to create a dipped hem.

As this sweater is knitted inside out, keep all yarn changes on the side that is facing you, as well as any floats. The sweater is worked in the round as one piece, starting from the top.

Yarn: 4ply/ fingering weight yarn in two colours.
Colour A - 3 (4, 4, 5, 5, 6) skeins of Cosmic Strings merino singles at 366m per 100g
Colour B - 1 skein as above - you will not need all of it, so if you have leftovers from another project, you will need 40g for sizes XS, and S, 50g for M and L, and 60g for XL and 2XL.

Needles: 3.5mm needles for main body and sleeves - one longer circular needle, and a set of double-pointed needles or shorter circular needle for sleeves.
3.25mm double pointed needles for neck and cuffs, plus a longer circular needle for hem.

Other tools:
Stitch markers
Tapestry needle
Stitch holders or scrap yarn.

Gauge: 22 sts and 24 rows over 10cm (4 inches) in stocking stitch, after washing and blocking, using the larger needles.

Fit: Designed to fit with approximately 12.5 cm (5 inches) of positive ease.

Finished bust circumference:
XS (S, M, L, XL, 2XL)
