Shine bright like the Sunbeam Tee! Full of texture, this striped t-shirt is meant to make an impression. Knit in a sport weight, the Sunbeam Tee is a breathable warm weather addition to the wardrobe, with plenty of opportunity to play with color and stash yarns too!
This pattern is geared towards intermediate to advanced knitters.

Construction Overview:
Sunbeam Tee is worked top down in a contiguous saddle shoulder construction while maintaining a texture pattern in stripes. Beginning working flat, the front and back sections are shaped flat with increases off the saddles. Then the neckline is shaped at the same time. The neckline is connected and the garment is switched to working in the round. The sleeves are now shaped with increases. The yoke is completed with raglan shaping before separating the body and the sleeves. The body is worked in the round to the hem, sleeves are picked up and completed. Finally, the neckline is added.

The pattern is charted through connecting the neckline, then written instructions are provided for the remaining sleeve and raglan shaping. It is necessary to be able to increase in pattern to maintain the stitch pattern in the round.

Fit And Schematic:
The Sunbeam Tee is intended to be worn with 2-8 cm (1-3.5 in) of positive ease at the chest. The body and arms are a moderately cropped length, with the overall fit ever so slightly relaxed.
This pattern has been graded to follow traditional men’s sizing. This may mean someone with slimmer shoulders may want to size down when between sizes, or may have a more relaxed silhoutte.
