The Sunbeams Granny Square uses front post double crochet stitches emanating from the centre of the square to symbolise the sun’s rays. It is a happy square which can be used to make lots of crochet projects.

It is an advanced beginner pattern and uses single, half double, double and treble crochet stitches, together with front post double crochet stitches. All stitches are explained in detail in the pattern notes with photo tutorials. Pattern in US terminology.

The dimensions are 10x10cm/4”x4”, using fingering weight/4 ply yarn (18-25m in total) and a 3.0mm hook. Other weight yarn could be used.
