Techniques include additive construction, shaping, lacework, short rows, edging and blocking.

PDFs available in UK & US terms.

Materials
Yarn
Scheepjes Woolly Whirl (70% cotton, 30% wool; 215-225g/1000m) x 1 ball of Bubble Lickcious (474)
(Note: 1 ball of any Scheepjes Whirl is a suitable substitute).

3.5mm (US E-4) crochet hook

Scarf is worked outwards to 2 directions from foundation row of crochet, using a 4-row patt rep of my custom “sunburst” motifs and featuring long colour change gradient yarn Scheepjes Woolly Whirl. Tapered ends offer a striking ruffled edge.

Easy to make wider and shorter if desired by changing the number of motif patt reps.
