Sunburst Sweater
The sweater does not have classic front and back parts, but is symmetrical – this allows for even wear of the material.
The sweater is worked flat and consists of 4 parts that are then sewn together. Only the collar is worked in rounds.
The sweater is worked with 5 mm knitting needles, only to pick up the sts for the collar and then cast them off, one needs 4.5 mm knitting needles.
Further tools: stitch holders, tapestry needle, scissors, stitch markers and row counter (optional).
Finished measurements (see the sweater construction picture): A = 51 cm, B = 26 cm, C = 16 cm, D = 48 cm.
Weight of the pullover: 316 g.
Techniques: k, p, elastic cast-on, k2tog, ssk; mattress stitch and Kitchener stitch for seaming.
