The Sundance Wide Brim Hat is a stylish winter hat that turns heads, and adds boho flair to any wardrobe. With two design options (basic and cable knit) and 2 ways to wear (smooth knit or pebbled purl side up), this hat may be customized to perfection. A floppy wide brim shields the face from too much sun, and the chunky design keeps heads warm in cooler weather.

This is an easy-to-follow, row-by-row pattern for a beginner-intermediate knitter. It is quick, chunky knit. Skills required for this knit are knitting in the round, decreasing stitches, picking up stitches, cable knitting, braiding and blocking knowledge.

US 8/6mm circular needles, US 11/8mm circular needles (US 13/9mm, US 15/9mm are optional for cable knit hat). Yarn needed are 2 skeins of super bulky yarn and blocking mats are a must.

In my patterns, I provide row-by-row directions as well as tips, adjustments, stitch explanation, abbreviations, blocking how-to, styling options and photos. My patterns are tested, and I try my best to help with any questions regarding the pattern.
