Make a gorgeous flower to brighten your home, or a whole bouquet (or field) of sunflowers to decorate for many different occasions.

Description:
The pattern for the petals is easily memorized making the whole flower surprisingly quick and easy to knit. The sunflower is constructed in three stages. First the brown center is worked in the round to create a flat circle. Next an outer layer of petals is added. And last an inner layer of petals finishes this exceptional creation. Each petal is picked up and knitted from the center, and includes reverse stocking stitch details (veining for the petals) all of which gives the final bloom a surprisingly realistic appearance.
