Flower motifs and classic ripple stitch come together for a seasonal favorite featuring sunflowers and lots of tassels. This throw is worked in pieces and sewn together, making it a great travel project!

Size: 46” wide x 66” tall, not including tassels

Gauge: 12 sts and 6 rows = 4” 10 cm in double crochet after wet blocking

Universal Yarn Deluxe Worsted Superwash (100% Superwash Wool; 220 yards 200 meters/100 grams): 731 Burrow (CC1, 3 balls), 761 Cavern (CC2, 3 balls), 706 Marigold (CC3, 2 balls), 704 Nectarine (CC4, 1 ball), 753 Azure Heather (CC5, 5 balls), 739 Turquoise (CC6, 2 balls)

Hook: US size I/9 (5.0 mm)

Sunflower squares are worked separately and joined together. The center ripple stitch portion is worked separately and sewn to Sunflower strips. The end ripple stitch sections are worked off of the sides of Sunflower strips.

When changing colors at the end of any row/round, work the last leg of each st in the new color and cut old color. Weave in ends as you go to reduce finishing time later.
