Materials:

  • Red heart super saver yarns

  • Yardage is approximate on the following table depending on how tight or loose you crochet but this will give you a close idea on how much you need per hat size Size Small Medium Large X-Large Warm Brown 120 135 150 170 Gold 109 109 130 130 black Less than 5 Less than 5 Less than 10 Less than 10 White Less than 1 Less than 1 less than 1 Less than 1

  • Size “I” (5.50 MM) hook

  • Size “H” (5.00 MM) hook

  • Size “G” (4.25 MM) hook

  • Size “F” (3.75 MM) hook

  • Scissors

  • Tapestry needle

  • Styrofoam head or Safety pins for petal placement

Notes:

  1. This pattern was written with the beginner in mind
  2. This pattern contains lots of photos to help you along the way
  3. This pattern was written in US terms for the right handed crocheter
  4. This pattern has only been tested using Red Heart Super Saver Yarns
  5. This pattern contains 4 sizes: a. S: small child; fits head circumference up to 18” b. M: Large child; fits head circumference up to 20” c. L: teen/ small adult; fits head circumference up to 22” d. XL: adult; fits head circumference up to 24”
  6. Chains do not count in stitch count
  7. Colored numbers in parentheses indicate stitch count for sizing
  8. Stitches in brackets are to be repeated total number times stated after brackets
  9. Using a Styrofoam head for piece placement is optional but very recommended to make sure each piece is lined up even but pinning the pieces to the beanie with safety pins works just fine too 
  10. Includes full color step-by-step photo tutorial
  11. Numbers at end of rounds in parentheses indicate number of stitches for round
  12. Gauge using size “I” (5.50 MM) hook: 13 sts= 4”, 11 rows = 4”
  13. Finished product: wash in cold or luke-warm water, tumble dry on low heat or lay flat to dry
