I have been having a lot of fun making wreaths for my home. After 4th of July passed, I got to thinking a fall wreath would be the perfect one to make next. I have been wanting to redo my sunflower applique to make it look more like a sunflower, and sunflowers are everywhere for fall, alongside pumpkins.

I spent a lot of time thinking on how I wanted to arrange them. First, I thought about covering the whole wreath, then I contemplated adding a monogram, but this simple design won me over, and I am soooo happy with it!

  • For Sunflowers: Small Amount of Lightweight Yarn or Worsted Weight Yarn - I used two strands of Baby Bee’s Sweet Delight in the Banana and Chocolate colorways
  • For the Leaves: About 50 Yards of Worsted Weight Yarn - I used Red Heart’s With Love in the Lettuce colorway
  • For the Bow & Hanger: Small Amount of Lightweight #3 or Worsted Weight #4 Yarn - I used two strands held together of Baby Bee’s Sweet Delight Yarn in the Teddy colorway
  • H8/5mm Crochet Hook
  • Tapestry Needle for Weaving in Ends
  • Hot Glue Gun and Sticks
  • 12” Grapevine Wreath

Material Notes:
I used up yarn from my stash to complete this wreath, but you can use all of the same brand yarn/weight if you have it.

Time Spent:
Just over 3 hours.

Finished Wreath: 12”
